unmanned reception unreliable wifi
the promised wifi did not work. this was frustrating since i needed it for work. the reception area was unmanned upon my arrival. i had to ring the bell repeatedly before someone finally was to check me in. i found no one around during checkout too, so i just left the key at the reception.

The room featured its own separate living area. It was a nice touch. i found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, especially at breakfast. the hotel grounds were beautiful.
the room felt a little tired and could use some tlc.

breakfast had a fantastic range of choices and everything tasted great. the little jams, marmalade, and nutella on the table for breakfast were a nice touch. i do wish there had been more available though.

Fantastic Stay in Lowestoft

The hotel included free parking. The staff were pleasant. The room was clean, I noticed. I enjoyed a quiet stay. The breakfast was very good, I thought. It offered a good choice. The dining room offered lovely views of the grounds.
The grounds appear private, so access felt quite limited, I found.

unexpectedly charming stay
friendly staff big room extensive gardens
The staff smiled a lot and seemed helpful. the room provided was quite big. It also featured an en-suite. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The grounds were extensive with manicured gardens, a really welcome sight.
the key holes in the connecting doors made me feel uneasy, requiring me to cover them with clothing to ensure privacy.

The room had doors to other rooms. These were locked, but contained huge key holes, so i used my clothes to cover the holes. The room seemed a little more shabby than in the photos.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful. Smiles were plentiful. Breakfast service was efficient. I found the team were able to assist with most queries, which i appreciated.
